Be Your Own Graphic Designer With Canva

I enjoy sharing my knowledge and advice with new and small business owners, whether you are a long-term client or not. There’s nothing like providing the answers and solutions to someone and watching them thrive in confidence saying “I didn’t know it could be that easy!” I’ve learned a couple of helpful things along my journey as an entrepreneur and I’d love to share some of those things with you.

In this blog, I’ll be sharing how you can be your own graphic designer with just a little help from me, your friendly graphic designer and CANVA

Paying a graphic designer to do your flyers, social posts and any extra small bits can be pretty expensive when you are just starting out. At the same time it’s still something that is extremely important in any business whether big or small. You need to prioritise good quality, consistency, and appealing content that will speak your brand and connect with your ideal customers.

Canva has made it so easy to become a DIY graphic designer in your own business. I would still recommend getting a professional to do your full branding (logos, marks, watermarks, fonts, colours) as this will be the foundation for you to step in and build extra content yourself.

I’m all about keeping costs down and starting out can quickly get very expensive. Which is why Canva has a forever free option with 8,000+ free templates and hundreds of thousands of free photos and graphics. If you want even more you can opt for the paid version with an even bigger variety of items to use. You can always get your graphic designer to make some easy-to-use templates and share them with you in Canva.

If you are looking for some help using Canva, look out for my future blog posts and some exciting resources coming soon!

I’m a Brand Designer and I’m recommending this platform, not necessarily taking away business from myself as I know somewhere down the line something will come my way.

If you already use Canva let me know how much of a difference it made in your business and remember to share your knowledge with like-minded people around you – networking is key to building your brand.
