Nestled among rolling vineyards and sun-soaked hills, L’Avenir Wine Estate provided the most magical backdrop for this unforgettable wedding day. From the soft golden light filtering through the trees to the elegant, relaxed atmosphere of the estate, every detail came together perfectly to celebrate a love that felt truly timeless.

L’Avenir has always been one of my favourite wedding venues in Stellenbosch — it’s intimate yet full of character, surrounded by the charm of the Winelands. The day began quietly in the bridal suite, where Rencha got ready with her closest family members.

Meanwhile, Jason and his groomsmen shared a few relaxed moments outside the cottages.

Surrounded by nature, the couple exchanged vows on the lawn, framed by the tranquil dam shimmering behind them.

There’s something so joyful about confetti photos — that burst of colour, laughter, and pure happiness as everyone celebrates around you. It’s one of my absolute favourite moments to capture because it’s so real, spontaneous, and full of energy.

Ah, the couple photos — my favourite part of the day. It’s the first time the couple can breathe, take each other’s hands, and simply be. These moments right after the ceremony are full of emotion — happiness, relief, love — and I adore documenting that natural connection that shines through every look and touch.

The reception was held in the beautiful glass-walled venue, offering breathtaking views of the dam and the surrounding winelands. Inside, the space blended modern elegance with a touch of rustic charm — guests could admire the wine-making equipment through the large windows, a subtle nod to the estate’s heritage. One of my favourite details was the glass floor, with gentle streams of water flowing beneath it — such a unique and mesmerizing feature that added a sense of calm and sophistication to the evening.
